Resident Firefighter Trainee: This position is an entry level, non-salaried Firefighter position with the Groveland CSD Fire Department and is intended to provide work experience and on the job training for individuals that are interested in pursuing a career in the fire service. The Resident Firefighter Trainee provides supplemental staffing on an engine company and works directly with on-duty Fire Department personnel while performing their duties at the fire station and at scene of emergency and non-emergency incidents. The Resident Firefighter Trainee works at a fire station for the duration of 48 hours a week and is compensated with a stipend of $625 a month.
