Welcoming Our New Board Member

The Groveland Community Services District is pleased to welcome Robert Turney as the newest member of our Board of Directors.
A longtime resident with deep roots in our community, Bob has called Groveland home since 2014, though his family has been part of the PML community since 1997. Currently completing the construction of his permanent home in PML, he is both personally and professionally invested in the issues that impact our residents.
Bob brings a wealth of leadership and community involvement experience to the Board. He is the President/CEO of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing technical online education to Veterans. Locally, he was the owner of Yosemite Adventure Supplies, served as the President of the Yosemite Hwy 120 Chamber of Commerce, and chaired the 49er Festival for more than a decade, coordinating beloved events such as the Chili Cook-off, Gunfighters, and Beard Contest, while also serving as the Master of Ceremonies for the festival parade. He also enjoys staying connected to the community through his part-time work at Trail Less Traveled on Main Street.
With strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, Bob has demonstrated a commitment to serving others and strengthening community connections. His passion for Groveland and dedication to advancing the mission of GCSD will make him a valuable asset to the Board and the residents we serve.
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Bob Turney as he begins his service on the GCSD Board of Directors.
