Purpose and Policy
This Water Ordinance sets uniform requirements for providing public water supplies to Groveland Community Services District (hereinafter referred to as "District") and enables the District to comply with drinking water supply requirements set by the California Department of Health Services and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This Ordinance also provides for the setting of user rates, charges, and fees for the equitable distribution of cost to all Users, and the issuance of permits to certain Users.
The District Standard Specifications and Standard Details are hereby made a part of this Ordinance, including other standards and codes referenced herein and referenced in the Standard Specification and Details. The Standard Specifications and Details are "Dynamic" documents and shall be revised periodically to reflect changing regulations, design and construction methods, materials and test/inspection procedures. Revisions to the Standard Specifications and Details will not require this Ordinance to be modified.Water Ordinance 2-17 Final.pdf
