Tahoe residents are drawing down water supply sources at an alarming rate as a result of leaving irrigation systems, hoses, and sprinklers on roofs actively running. Fire personnel conveys that this will not be helpful in protecting your home from a wildfire, and is detrimental to firefighting efforts that rely on adequate water flows.
