Mary Laveroni Community Park
Mary Laveroni Community Park is a roughly 2.3-acre Park that fronts Highway 120 in Groveland.
Built in the 1980’s, it was originally named Wayside Park. In August 2003 as part of its 50-year anniversary celebration, it was renamed Mary Laveroni Community Park in honor of one of GCSD's first directors.
Mary Laveroni Community Park is home to several annual events like Movies in the Park, Rotary Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Trunk or Treat, and the 49er Festival. In addition to these community events, the park is used by individual members of the community for various special events like weddings, fundraisers, and concerts.
