Groveland Community Services District Receives District of Distinction at Platinum Level

Groveland Community Services District is proud to have been awarded the “District of Distinction” accreditation by the Special District Leadership Foundation (SDLF) for its sound fiscal management, transparency, and responsible operations. SDLF is dedicated to recognizing excellence in special districts that emulate understanding and respect for what it means to govern.

In September 2026, Groveland Community Services District was awarded the prestigious District of Distinction accreditation at the Platinum Level, the highest recognition awarded by the Special District Leadership Foundation.

Out of 2,000 independent Special Districts across the state, there are currently 44 Special Districts that hold the District of Distinction certificate. Only 16 (including GCSD) have achieved the platinum level.
