Maintenance Mechanic I – Collections & Distribution Department
Dustin joined the Groveland Community Services District as a Maintenance Mechanic I in the Collections & Distribution Department. Dustin plays an important role in keeping the District’s fleet and equipment safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community. His responsibilities include performing both major and complex mechanical repairs as well as routine maintenance and troubleshooting to help keep the District’s vehicles and equipment up and running.
Dustin enjoys the atmosphere at GCSD, the camaraderie he has developed with his co-workers, and the opportunity to continually learn and improve his skills. He appreciates the ability to pursue certifications and additional training that enhance his knowledge and performance. Dustin is always willing to lend a hand and help wherever he is needed within the department, making him a dependable member of the District team.
Before joining GCSD, Dustin gained valuable experience working with Tanko Bros. in well drilling and pump systems, as well as with Kaiser’s Automotive. These experiences provided him with a strong mechanical foundation that he continues to build upon in his work with the District.
Dustin enjoys being part of the Groveland community and appreciates the area for its unique character, small-town atmosphere, and the people who make the community special.
