Austin Davis

Water & Wastewater Operator – Operations Department

Austin is a Water & Wastewater Operator in Groveland Community Services District’s Operations Department. Although Austin is relatively new to the District, he has quickly become an enthusiastic member of the Operations team and has shown a strong interest in learning all aspects of water and wastewater treatment.

Austin is particularly interested in the wastewater treatment process and enjoys taking care of the “bugs” in the sewer system that help ensure the system operates smoothly and efficiently. His curiosity and willingness to learn have made him a quick study, and he is always ready to take on new challenges and expand his knowledge.

Austin is not afraid to ask questions and regularly checks in with management to make sure he understands what is needed and that the job is being done correctly. His approach to learning, positive attitude, and willingness to take on new responsibilities make him a valuable addition to the Operations Department.

Austin holds an Associate’s degree in Mathematics and Science and has earned certifications in water treatment, water distribution, and wastewater treatment. He continues to build his experience and knowledge as he develops his career in the water and wastewater industry.
