GCSD Station 78 recently completed its kitchen renovation. The upgrades included the installation of new stainless-steel appliances, upgraded countertops, and additional storage to better meet the station’s operational needs. The improved kitchen provides a more efficient and comfortable space for firefighters.

GCSD Station 78 has begun replacing flooring throughout the facility. Upgrades in key areas such as the kitchen, office, and bathrooms enhance the station’s durability and functionality. This project demonstrates a continued commitment to investing in Station 78’s infrastructure and improving the work environment for personnel.

A big shoutout to our hardworking GCSD Fire team for dedicating their time and expertise to secure an important safety grant. Their commitment behind the scenes makes a real difference in our community.
Thanks to their efforts — and the support of the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) — the District will be purchasing new state-of-the-art “jaws of life” extrication tools to better protect and rescue victims in serious crashes.
We’re grateful to OTS for investing in our community’s safety, and to our firefighters for always showing up with professionalism and heart.

Groveland CSD received a $57,000 grant for new emergency tools to help rescue traffic accident victims more effectively.
